As part of the “Event Management” course conducted by Dr. Güllü Arı, Head of the Department of Recreation Management, during the 2024–2025 Fall Semester, second-year students Ezgisu Karol and Hagar Elsayed Mohamed Moustafa Tolba organized a vibrant event titled “The Soul’s Encounter with Art” on December 24, 2024.

With the contributions of Dr. Güllü Arı both before and during the event, and the support of the Tavşanlı Public Education Center, Acapella Music House, Educational Support Platform District Representative Mesut Kocaman, and Harmancıklıoğlu Roasted Chickpeas, the event offered memorable moments filled with art and culture.

As part of the program, art enthusiasts enjoyed live music performances, along with a tile (çini) exhibition and workshop. Participants received hands-on training in tile-making and had the opportunity to create their own works of art.

Throughout the program, guests were served manti, one of the beloved dishes of traditional Turkish cuisine. The event was regarded as a great success, both for helping students enhance their organizational skills and for allowing participants to feel more connected to art.
